The last day of 2022

Image
It's the morning of the last day of the first year of retirement. I'm not a fan of statistics - they feel like work and I don't work anymore. But I admit it would be nice to be able to know how many : *letters/notes/ emails I wrote *phone calls I made *poems I wrote *drawings/paintings/coloring I did *walks I took *miles or minutes I walked *morning pages/journaling written *Pounds I decluttered and gave away *people I met along the way *neighbors I chatted with *kindnesses done *books/ newletters/ other people's reflections I read *things I sewed Just making this list makes me realize it's been a good year - I have good goals and even though I don't know the stats, I'm happy these are the things I care about.

Good girl, Luna!

I'm so proud of Luna today! Several people met her on our walk this morning. And she didn't jump up!  We stopped at Starbucks for tea(for me) and puppiccino for Luna. She met a lady there with 3 rescue dogs!

Grateful for people

Welcoming.

I really like my neighbors! some I know  and some I don't. Some are people. Some are dogs or cats. Some are friendly Some are busy. They are my neighbors. And I like that. Mary leading liturgy at Guadalupe House.
